Outlast is powered by Deura9® (d9-Caffeine), the first ever innovation in caffeine. It uses deuteration — substituting 9 out of 10 hydrogen atoms with deuterium — to enhance molecular stability and create stronger bonds. In a head-to-head double-blind clinical study, Deura9® achieved higher plasma levels sustained over a longer period, lasting up to 3× longer than ordinary caffeine with superior bioavailability. The result: crash-free energy, no jitters, and lower dosage requirements.
Deura9® (d9-Caffeine) has been extensively studied, including a head-to-head double-blind clinical study compared to ordinary caffeine. It is classified as Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS). Studies show Deura9® displays altered pharmacokinetics and metabolism, but similar biological activity to caffeine and no genotoxicity.
